Growth Energy is a proactive group committed to the promise of agriculture and growing America’s economy through cleaner, greener energy. Growth Energy members recognize America needs a new ethanol approach. Through smart policy reform and a proactive grassroots campaign, Growth Energy promotes reducing greenhouse gas emissions, expanding the use of ethanol in gasoline, decreasing our dependence on foreign oil, and creating American jobs at home.
At this pivotal time in history, we joined together and created Growth Energy because:

Our Message
Ethanol is America's best renewable fuel, reliable and affordable now. It's high-tech, homegrown and on the verge of innovative breakthroughs that will make it even cleaner and greener for the long-term.
Ethanol is vital to achieving greater American energy independence. It is today's only viable and available fuel that can be substituted for gasoline. Unlike oil, ethanol is renewable - it will never run out. As science moves from making ethanol from corn to producing it from corncobs and other plant materials, ethanol will continue to be a sustainable and effective energy solution for the world. America's dependence on foreign oil causes enormous problems for Americans every day - raising the prices on everything from gas to groceries and sending money and jobs overseas.

The ethanol industry is facing critical legislative issues that will impact our future. Growth Energy is strategically working with national and state legislators on both sides of the aisle to provide greater access to fuel markets and form legislation to ensure a growing, stable ethanol industry.

Not only does ethanol have a tremendous impact on the U.S. economy, but biofuels have the power to create positive change throughout the world. Third-world countries that in the past have been dependent on others, can now utilize their own natural resources for both food and fuel. It is Growth Energy's goal to spread 21st century biofuel technology throughout the world.
